## What Ray reads in PagerDuty

Reading changes nothing, so Ray never stops to ask whether it may look something up.

- Who is on call now, and the schedules and escalation policies behind it
- Services, teams, and the people on them

## What waits for your approval

Every one of these posts an approval card in the thread showing exactly what is about to happen. Nothing runs until someone clicks approve, and no setting turns that off.

- Add a note to an incident
- Post a status update on an incident
- Update an incident, including acknowledging and resolving it

## Things Ray is never handed

These are left out during curation, so they are not something Ray could do and decides against. They are not in front of it at all.

- Change schedules, escalation policies, or services
- Create or delete webhooks, teams, and maintenance windows
- Delete a subscription or an alert grouping

## Connecting PagerDuty

Every person on the team connects their own PagerDuty account on PagerDuty's own login screen, so Ray can only reach what that person can already reach, and the history in PagerDuty shows who actually asked. Passwords never pass through Ray. Disconnecting PagerDuty or uninstalling Ray revokes the connection.
