Reading changes nothing, so Ray never stops to ask whether it may look something up.

- Channels, their videos, playlists, and sections
- Video statistics, ratings, and channel activity
- Comments, comment threads, and caption tracks

## What Ray writes

Ray reads YouTube and answers from it in the thread. Writing to YouTube is not switched on yet, so there is nothing to approve.

## Things Ray is never handed

These are left out during curation, so they are not something Ray could do and decides against. They are not in front of it at all.

- Change or delete a video
- Post or delete a comment
- Change a playlist, a thumbnail, or the channel

## Ask it like this

- "@Ray how is the launch video doing compared to the last one?"
- "@Ray what are people saying in the comments on the demo video?"
- "@Ray how many subscribers did we gain this month?"
- "@Ray pull the captions from that video so I can quote it."

## Connecting YouTube

Every person on the team connects their own YouTube account on YouTube's own login screen, so Ray can only reach what that person can already reach, and the history in YouTube shows who actually asked. Passwords never pass through Ray. Disconnecting YouTube or uninstalling Ray revokes the connection.
