Terms of Service

Last updated July 18, 2026

Ray is an AI teammate that works inside your team’s chat workspace. These terms are the agreement between you and Creako Inc. (“we”, “us”) when you install or use Ray. Installing Ray, or using a workspace where it’s installed, means you accept them.

The service

Ray joins your workspace, reads the conversations it’s invited to, and does work on your team’s behalf: tracking tasks, chasing statuses, posting digests, and acting in the tools you connect. Sensitive actions — creating tickets, sending email, anything that changes something outside the conversation — happen only after a person on your team approves them.

Your workspace

Whoever installs Ray needs the authority to add apps to that workspace. The installer becomes Ray’s first admin and can grant or revoke admin rights, switch memory on or off, and purge stored data. You are responsible for who is in your workspace and for the instructions your team gives Ray.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t use Ray for anything unlawful, or to process content you don’t have the right to share with us.
  • Only connect integrations (issue trackers, email, calendars) that you are authorized to connect on your team’s behalf.
  • Don’t probe, overload, or attempt to break the service, and don’t attempt to access another workspace’s data.
  • Don’t resell Ray or offer it as your own service.

AI output

Ray is built on large language models. It aims to be accurate and to say when it doesn’t know, but it can still be wrong. Check work that matters before relying on it. Approvals exist for exactly this reason: when you approve an action, you’re confirming it should happen. Ray’s output isn’t legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Plans and billing

The free plan includes a monthly allowance of completed tasks, plus a one-time starter grant. Pro is a flat price per workspace per month, as listed on the pricing page — no seats. Payments run through Stripe. Task allowances reset each calendar month; only work Ray actually delivers counts against them. You can cancel Pro any time and it stays active until the end of the paid period. We may change prices with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you’ve already paid for.

Your data

Your team’s content stays yours. You give us the permission we need to process it to run the service — reading messages Ray is invited to, storing team memory, and calling the AI providers and integrations that do the work. What we store, who processes it, and how to delete it are covered in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Third-party services

Ray works across services you already use — Slack, issue trackers, email, calendars. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them. If a connected service breaks or changes its API, Ray degrades honestly but some features may stop working.

Availability and changes

Ray is under active development. Features may change or be replaced as the product evolves. We work to keep the service reliable but don’t promise uninterrupted availability at this stage.

Uninstalling and termination

You can remove Ray from your workspace at any time. Uninstalling stops all processing, disconnects integrations, deactivates schedules, and cancels any paid subscription at the end of its period. Stored workspace data is deleted after a 30-day grace window — reinstalling within that window picks up where you left off. We may suspend or terminate service for workspaces that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the amount your workspace paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes we’ll post the updated terms here and update the date above. Continuing to use Ray after a change means you accept it.
