Something not working?
Ray is small enough that support is the person who builds it. Write to us and you get an answer within one business day, with no account to create and no ticket portal to log into.
Try this first
These cover almost everything people write in about.
- Ray isn’t answering in a channel
- Ray only sees channels someone invited it to. Type /invite @Ray in the channel. It also stays quiet on purpose when a message is not for it, so mention it directly when you want an answer.
- The install never finished
- Most workspaces ask an owner to approve new apps. Slack shows a request screen instead of the usual consent screen, and the install waits there. Ask an owner to approve Ray, then start again from the install page.
- A tool won’t connect
- Ask Ray for something in that tool and it posts a Connect button. The link opens the tool’s own login, so your credentials never pass through us. If the button itself errors, email us and say which tool.
- I approved something and nothing happened
- Approval cards expire after three days. If the card has been sitting a while, ask Ray for the same thing again and it files a fresh one. Ray never performs an action twice, even if you approve a card after retrying.
- I want Ray to stop remembering things
- Say “Ray, forget that” to retire one fact. An admin can switch memory off entirely, which pauses it without deleting anything, or purge everything. A purge asks for an in-channel approval first, because it cannot be undone.
- I need to change or cancel the plan
- Ask Ray for the billing portal and it gives you the link. Cancelling keeps Pro running until the end of the period you already paid for. The numbers behind each plan are on the pricing page.
- I want to remove Ray
- Uninstall it from your Slack workspace settings. Ray stops immediately, every integration token is revoked, and your stored data is deleted after a 30 day grace window. Reinstalling inside that window brings the workspace back exactly as it was.
- Ray got something wrong
- Tell it in the thread. Corrections land in the same conversation, and Ray will supersede what it had wrong. If it keeps getting the same thing wrong, that is a bug worth an email, and we would rather hear about it than not.
Still stuck? Write to us.
Tell us what you asked Ray and roughly when. Ray’s own run records age out within 30 days, so sooner is easier to trace than later.
Found a security problem?
Same address, with “Security” in the subject line. It goes straight to the top of the pile, and we will tell you what we found and what we changed.
Is Ray down?
We do not run a status page yet. Email us and we will tell you what we know, including when we do not know yet.
Checking us out first?
How Ray is secured, what it stores, and what shipped are all public.
